Happy Memorial Day! Thank you to all those who serve and have served!
We celebrated this great day together by visiting the Don F. Pratt Memorial Museum at Fort Campbell. We used our coach bus and were able to thirty-six of our program participants as well as several of their families to tour this important memorial. Afterwards we grilled out hamburgers and hot dogs for a picnic lunch.

Our revival on May 8-13 was a well-timed and needed event. We needed a refreshing from the Lord, and the impact He made through the revival is evident in the community, our participants, and even our own staff. From the men, we have seen a greater bond with each other, encouraged spirits, and even a hunger to share what they learned about God with others in the community. Not only do the men have a renewed sense of the purpose God has for them, four participants made the public profession of being baptized. A big thank you to all the those involved to make this week a success. We appreciate House of God Church for hosting and also want to thank the following for making this event possible: Downline Memphis, The Lighthouse, Pastor and Mrs. Ron Smith, Evangelist Thelma Jo Williams, Clarksville Community Church, and Church in Clarksville. Please continue to pray for us at Safe Harbor to hear from the Lord and serve His people in our care with a kindness that reflects Him. See you in March of 2017 for the next Revival!
Praise God for how he redeems, changes, and restores us!

We had a a wonderful time celebrating the Mothers in our residents lives at our Mother’s Day Brunch. The decorations were lovely and the food was delicious! Resident, David Fritz read a poem aloud he wrote just for Mothers. It was a sweet time and an honor for us at Safe Harbor to provide a palace and moment for our participants to appreciate the lovely women in their lives – women that believe in them, pray for them, and and their for them.
A HUGE thank you to Tatjana Gaston for making this great event possible!

“Thank you Lord. The Chaplains Department is having a GREAT Revival. Men are giving their lives to the Lord and our program spirit is at an all-time high. We also will have a baptism service on 6, March, 2016. We will also have a communion service that same day. Again thank you for keeping Clarksville in your prayers.” – Chaplain Mike
To all our participants whose birthday is in the months of January through March – what a blessing to celebrate you with you!

We have just finished putting a new roof on our facility here at 108 Kraft St. The project was made possible by the City of Clarksville block grant program and the actual construction was performed by Hall Construction. We would like to extend a special thanks to both of these organizations for their diligence and excellence to help us improve our facility. It’s been a great experience working with them both. Below, the pictures show just a glimpse of what a huge transformation the roof has undergone.
